Went to meet Farah during lunch just now to pay for our bintan package. Saw many many many brochures with pix like below (taken from Six Senses website.






pretty kan. a pity we aren't going here.

but nirwana's good enough for us. tak cerewet. haha. I paid for Farah and she paid for me, so konon mcm it's our birthday present for each other. how gay. hehe.

watched Duplicate on tv just now. me and my mom wanted to catch the main song... the 'mere mehboob' whatever tu... 5 years ago when we went back kampung at Jambi, Indonesia all of us were obsessed with cerita hindustan, and funkily so were the people there. So whenever we were bored, we would go to Cik Dewi's house (the only aunt there with a vcd player in her house) and play the music only vcd, with songs from Duplicate and a few other hindustan movies. That Duplicate song, Lai lai lai lai lai lai lai (etc, hehe) had us trying to imitate the dance moves.. and at night when we just sitting outside the main house, on the verandah if that's the right word, there would be at least one person humming that song. we were sooo in love with those songs that my aunt asked one of my relatives there to buy a few vcds for her to bring back to sg.

but it didn't have the same feeling as when we watched it at jambi....

anyhoos. it was fun watching it with my mom just now, reminiscing about the jambi days. it's been 5 years since the last time we went.
